Behind The Name
...Another Name
One day Jeliza-Rose found herself adrift. The
world had changed, she had to change, too.
Exploring the landscape she discovered
substances of unimaginable luciousness - the
softest of feel, rich colors and shimmering fabrics
that could be melted together to be reborn into
things so beautiful to wear. She smiled.
Fortunately for us, Jeliza-Rose, a recovering
architect, found no need for all the building
codes, engineering and tedious drafting that
that she used with such competency. She could
instead be submerged into pure creativity and
design. Now rather than sheltering people in
large spaces, she finds joy wrapping one person
at a time in practical works of art.
Felting is an ancient way of creating fabric without
weaving. It takes physical effort to work natural
fibers with water and soap.
